I have to admit I’m not too crazy about bikes, but when I saw this one I just felt compelled to write about it. This is the Lazareth LM847, and no you’re not seeing things double. It actually has four wheels.
This beast has been built by French company Lazareth, who apparently are known for building some crazy things. They certainly haven’t held back this time either. This bike, which technically is a quad due to the tandem wheels, is built around a V8 Maserati engine, which the guys at Lazareth tweaked obviously. According to Autoblog, it
“produces 470 horsepower and 457 pound-feet of torque, channeled through a single-speed hydraulic coupling in place of a multi-gear transmission.”
You might think that this thing could never work as it seems unable to go round a corner. However, you’d be wrong. Lazareth was aware of this potential problem and came up with a solution: hinged axles. You can see it in action in the video below.

Though i’m in awe of this beast, I’d never even think about getting on it. What about you, would you be willing to give it a go?
I want one! drools

Sorry about the delay, this post seemed to hide from me in the reader!!
This is a pretty crzy bike!! I’m not a particular motorbike fan, but even I can’t deny that this stands out. I’ve noticed that it looks a heck of a lot like the Dodge Tomahawk, which is a V10. Google it!

They seem to do that sometimes, don’t they? I can’t help but think of Mad Max or Judge Dred when I see it. It definitely looks a lot like the Tomahawk, though the Dodge looks a bit unfinished to me. At least several of the images on google do.

Yeah, you’re right, the Lazereth is better looking. Plus, it’s actually being put in production. The Dodge didn’t get that far. And, I don’t really like Dodge anyway.

It’s really nice to see concept vehicles that are more outside the norm. Sometimes I think that car companies are playing it way too safe. Cars of today all look the same, but cars a few decades ago had a lot more variety.

Hey, it’s good to see you again.
You do sometimes get wacky outside-the-box concepts that look really cool but they are never put into production 😦

Good to see you too. Life got a bit hectic there for a bit, but we should be back to our regularly scheduled programming. That’s true. I can remember a lot of ‘futuristic’ cars that were created for the shows but nothing ever came of them.

yeah? I hope it’s nothing too negative. I’ve gotten back into things, so hopefully no more big gaps.

I’ve just had a lot of assignements. The golden hours of youth are being pushed to one side, chiefly by my history teacher.

Haha. I can remember those days. They aren’t that far behind me. At least it’s nearly winter break, right?

I like Polar Express,
but in the last week, we’ve watched The Grinch, Coraline, The Grinch, Frozen, The Grinch, Miracle of 34th Street, The Grinch and.. did I mention The Grinch?
I bet I can recite the whole opening scene of that movie now…

Ah, but was it at least the animated version AND the Jim Carey version of the Grinch? At the risk of sounding Grinchy myself… isn’t that a little too much Grinch?

It is. Very much. The grinch and all the rest of the whos in whooville can take their silly hairdoos elsewhere.

Haha. I loved the animated version of the Grinch as a kid and it still hits me right in the nostalgia.

This Christmas has actually been the first time I’ve watched any form of it. Fifteen times.

Yeah, we watched it in elementary school, the cartoon version, at least once. 15x is just a bit of overkill though.
