As some, well probably most, of you know Mercedes-Benz has revived its luxury car branch Maybach and has been working on a new concept. This concept car is called the Vision Maybach 6. Though it hasn’t been officially presented yet, pictures of the Maybach can already be found online.
I have to say, this Maybach 6 just looks stunning. Sure, it’s almost 20 feet long but the streamlined well-proportioned design makes you forget all that. The interior looks great too and very clean. The Maybach is mostly devoid of physical buttons; designers have instead opted for one digital display that almost wraps around the passengers. I really like the feeling of the cabin. To me it’s
reminiscent of a safe haven, a place to just relax and get away from the world. And what better place to do this than in a stunning car? And as a nice plus, you enter this sanctuary through the gull-wing doors! (Yes, I like them, others might not share my opinion.)
As of yet, it’s unknown what powers the vehicle, but some believe the Vision Maybach 6 might be equipped with an electric drivetrain. I’m sure we’ll find this and more out when the Maybach will be officially unveiled by Mercedes at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. However, judging from the new Vision Maybach 6, it’s probably unlikely this beauty will ever be released into production.
What do you think, would you like to see the Vision Maybach 6 on the road some day? Or will you be happy never having to look at it again?
