I’ll be honest with you, at first I really hated this Rolls-Royce 103EX, as they called their Vision Next 100. But since I started writing these posts about the future of cars according to BMW and MINI, it has been growing on me. What I initially disliked the most was the exterior. However, none of that actually matters. Why on earth not, I hear you ask. Well because Rolls-Royce designed a concept that really is only one example. They imagine that in the future their cars will be more like a building kit that can be designed and assembled according the individual wishes of the client. So every car in the future would look different.
So why do I even bother with writing about this future Rolls-Royce 103EX concept? Because all these cars will have something in common, something they share with every Rolls-Royce that has been built so far: the spirit of elegance. In the future, cars will not be only be equipped with her image on the hood, but also with her voice. Because yes, Rolls-Royce assumes that the future of cars is all about being autonomous, which means that they require an artificial intelligence. Enter the spirit of elegance, Eleanor, to drive you around.
Eleanor is of course not the only thing the Vision Next 100 has in common with current Rolls-Royce cars: like all their cars this concept is all about luxury. The interior design must feel a bit like entering a cozy cocoon, albeit one with amazing panoramic views of the world you’ll be passing through. And it’s this interior that has convinced me the most, as you have no choice but to feel like you are home whenever you enter the Rolls-Royce Vision Next100. And who could not love that feeling?
If you want to know more about the the future of cars according to Rolls-Royce’s visit https://www.rolls-roycemotorcars.com/en-GB/103ex.html I definitely recommend taking the virtual 360° tour with Eleanor.
